Chris brings over 25 years of communication, graphic design, creative direction, and brand strategy experience to her clients at Red Thread Brands. Chris is dedicated to helping deliver on organizational objectives and works to see a world where everyone is inspired and passionate about their work everyday. Prior to founding Red Thread Brands, Chris has worked at institutions of higher learning and with various advertising agencies, learning what empowers - or discourages - people both from within and outside organizations. She holds dual degrees - a BS in mass communications (focused on TV & film production), and a BFA with an emphasis in graphic design. When she’s not developing strategy, Chris can be found enjoying music, art, cooking and her dogs.
Amy started her career as a music teacher and carried those organizational and coaching skills into roles supporting C-suite leaders for the past 7 years in operations, technology and finance. She is a self-described "continuous improvement fanatic" and loves finding and creating scalable solutions for everyday problems. As Chief of Staff, she takes care of the details and enables our leaders to do what they do best.
Tosin is a motivated community builder and connector with 10+ years of experience in developing and managing virtual communities in creative ways. In addition to community management, he brings project management experience during his time in the procurement office with the United States Department of Defense. As a member of Red Thread Brands, Tosin oversees client accounts and works closely with the other team members on brand strategy. Outside of his work with Red Thread, Tosin is passionate about helping people realize the highest versions of themselves.
Before her work with Red Thread Brands, Colleen spent seven years immersed in digital marketing and data science, working with clients from every corner of the business world. Results-oriented, decisive, and driven, Colleen has been able to establish and maintain a growing and lasting online presence in new markets for all her clients while identifying growth opportunities and initiating strong business alliances. A three time published author, classically trained actor, and seasoned marketer, Colleen combines creativity, natural talent, and hard earned skill to create a well-rounded, out of the box approach to digital marketing.
Whitney is a born and raised Mississippian with a huge heart for local culture and community building. Receiving her BFA in graphic communication from Southern Miss in 2007, Whitney completed a Master’s in Mass Communication at USM in 2012. Whitney’s experience is diverse, spanning in-house operations for an institution comprised of more than 1,000 employees, to holding her own as the sole designer for a private firm, and even serving as creative director in the fast-paced publishing world. She is a generator of positive energy that has proven to be contagious. When she is not busy rebranding a major university or designing your new logo suite, she enjoys dancing, watching crime dramas, and exploring Mississippi’s great outdoors.
Delaney Smith‑Vaughn is a visual artist, designer and educator. She received her BFA in Graphic Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2007 and her MFA in studio art with a concentration in Fibers from the University of North Texas in 2013. A self-declared lover of beauty, Delaney brings strong creative solutions to client work. In addition to traditional design & digital marketing, she also loves making video and animation. She is the team leader of design research, and strives to improve accessibility on all fronts. When not at her desk, she is probably teaching a craft workshop or challenging her wife to air hockey.

Kat Van Skiver
Kat was born and raised in south Mississippi. She spent her formative years in Jackson and Biloxi, before moving to Hattiesburg for college in 2008. After completing her B.F.A. in Graphic Design at The University of Southern Mississippi in 2012, she began working for the university’s communications office, where she spent the next 9 years developing her skills as an effective communicator and designer. Kat has a strong working relationship not only with her communications team, but with clients, printers and any other external vendors she works with as well. She believes the most important factor in being successful is to nurture and cultivate the trust between her team and whomever they work with externally. In her personal time, she enjoys landscape and abstract photography, spending hours wandering Treasure Hunt, relaxing at the park with her 2 dogs, and re-watching anything produced by Michael Schur at least 15 times.
Emily is Red Thread's resident digital strategist, weaving together paid and organic strategies to help clients grow their brands and connect with their audiences online. Emily started her career with an emphasis on content development, which soon led her into SEO, PPC, and marketing strategy. One of her favorite aspects of digital marketing is testing new approaches and analyzing data.
Emily holds a degree in mass communication from Louisiana State University with a minor in Spanish, where she spent her glory days working at the student newspaper. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, playing volleyball, and cheering on the Saints.
